Responsibilities

Participate in design, development, integration, and testing of new capabilities for several Department of Defense (DoD) products and technologies
Use and contribute to models of real-world weapons, radars, Command & Control systems
Independently identify and address system and software defects
Demonstrate an ability to practice sound systems and software engineering discipline
Decompose complex problems to formulate solutions
Use model-based system engineering (MBSE) techniques to define, mature and maintain system architecture
Generate artifacts such as requirements and SysML diagrams that enable development, execution, and assessment of capabilities

Required

Bachelor's Degree in STEM field
Minimum of 5 years related experience or 3 years with a Masters Degree
Basic knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system architecture definition, system/subsystem design, and/or requirements development
Basic knowledge of SysML modeling tools such as Rhapsody and Cameo
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. US citizenship required

Preferred

Demonstrated ability to perform system architecture and design using SysML and modeling tools such as Rhapsody, and Cameo
Demonstrated ability to perform requirements development, decomposition, and tracing using requirements management tools such as DOORS
Demonstrated ability to follow Agile Development Process
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
