Responsibilities
Design, deploy, modernize, and support scalable network solutions
Support network design and development activities to optimize performance across multiple computing environments
Use Linux command-line skills to deploy updates and configuration changes for Cisco-based systems
Implement switch, firewall, and router configurations
Provide guidance on network resource allocation, utilization, and optimization
Troubleshoot network issues and proactively mitigate risks
Qualification
Required
BS/BA in STEM: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, or related field
5+ years of professional and relevant network engineering experience
Linux System Administration experience (e.g., RHEL 6.0+)
Experience with VMware and virtualized environments
Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ within 90 days of hire
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required
U.S. citizenship
Preferred
Advanced experience with Cisco, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA, Brocade
Expertise troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3
Firewall implementation experience
Python scripting preferred; Bash/Shell accepted
Experience integrating PKI, LDAP, and other identity/access management systems
Agile environment experience (Scrum, SAFe)
Experience with scanning tools and basic automation frameworks
