Director, Paid Social Activation
MiQ is expanding its Paid Social team and seeking a Director of Paid Social Activation to lead and elevate our campaign management organization. This role requires exceptional vision and strong commercial acumen to influence revenue growth and client outcomes while ensuring best-in-class execution across all Paid Social initiatives.

Responsibilities
Establish, implement, and enforce Paid Social trading best practices, with a focus on campaign management excellence and adoption of MiQ products and tools
Oversee consistent weekly monitoring of campaign performance and pacing across the team
Lead weekly Pod Board sessions—surfacing opportunities, diagnosing challenges, and converting insights into clear actions
Make timely, data-informed decisions; set clear direction; and hold the team accountable for delivering high-quality results
Ensure effective campaign distribution—maintaining balanced workloads and revenue allocation across campaign managers
Drive prioritization across the team, balancing immediate needs with long-term strategic goals
Lead by example—model best practices, share scalable solutions, and create a culture where questions are welcomed and answered
Conduct regular 1:1s with the team focused on performance, pacing, and trading excellence, delivering actionable feedback that drives growth
Provide support and strategic guidance on complex campaigns, including recommendations, troubleshooting, and escalation guidance
Own team development and career pathing—building long-term growth plans that help each individual advance within MiQ and their broader career
Serve as the resident paid social expert—deeply knowledgeable in both campaign execution and client requirements across all platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, and X
Partner closely with Sales Directors and Account Management Leads to uphold and elevate operational excellence
Maintain consistent communication with Sales and AM teams, acting as the primary leadership stakeholder for campaign-related needs
Build strong internal and external networks that help influence outcomes and achieve shared goals
Contribute to the national trading strategy and collaborate with U.S. trading leaders to align and activate best practices
Work in partnership with the Strategic Trading team to test, learn, and refine approaches across priority product and innovation initiatives
Identify better, more efficient ways of working and operationalize solutions to meet evolving market needs
Foster an environment where the team can take smart risks, experiment, and innovate
Integrate the latest & greatest offerings and platform solutions into MiQ’s Social practice in partnership with Product and Strategy teams to ensure new features, alpha solutions, and innovations in the social space are well adopted
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of media activation experience on agency, ad tech, or platform side
3-5 years of specialized experience supporting Paid Social strategy across core platforms beyond Meta - including: TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, X, and LinkedIn
2-3 years of management and team leadership experience
System-builder with operational rigor: proven experience designing process and activation standards that raise quality, speed, performance and profitability
Innovation and test-and-learn mindset - turns alpha/beta features and product innovations into repeatable strategies with clear lift; enforces strong experimentation and measurement discipline
Commercial, people-first leader — coaches and uplevels teams; sets crisp priorities; partners with Sales/AM to tie work to revenue and client outcomes; communicates complex topics simply to senior stakeholders
