Research Associate/Senior Research Associate

Responsibilities
Provide scientific and technical expertise to advance and evaluate preclinical drug development of immunotherapeutic candidates
Design, execution, and analysis of in vitro assays including flow cytometry, western blot, ELISAs, live cell imaging, and RT-PCR
Provide scientific insight and maintain effective communication with internal research teams and external collaborators
Participate in daily laboratory maintenance activities including ordering and maintaining stocks of lab reagents
Present results in a multidisciplinary team environment that includes collaborations with top research laboratories and pharmaceutical companies
Qualification
Required
BSc. in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Immunology or other related field with 4+ years of biotech industry experience, or MSc. in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Immunology or other related field with 2+ years of biotech industry
Background in Drug Discovery (small molecule or biologics) required
Experience with in vitro culture of human primary cells and established human cell lines
Expertise in multi-parameter flow cytometry, including analysis and intracellular staining, western blot, ELISA, and RT-PCR
A track record of independent scientific achievement and problem solving
Extensive aseptic technique
Will require working with cells and cell lines of human and/or animal origin
100% on site work at corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA
