This role involves system testing expertise and UI automation, and the engineer will be responsible for performing various testing functions, developing testing frameworks, and collaborating with product teams.

Responsibilities
Perform System Testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing
Publish tests and test results using a TCM (TestRail)
Test Plan Development / Builds, Test Case Development / Execution
Defect Tracking / Reporting / Verification
Participate in Product Design / Feature Meetings
Test Environments: Identify / Setup / Configure / Maintain
Develop testing frameworks and test suites/cases
Function with minimal supervision
Responsible for working with development and project managers to assist in technical decision making
Ensure cross product implementation consistency
Work with product teams on solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
5-7 years of experience in SQA or product qualification with Bachelor's degree; or 3-5 years of experience in SQA or product qualification with Master's degree
Excellent knowledge of Python and Pytest
Ability to write automated tests for both UI and API
Experience in Webservices testing
Experience in building and maintaining automated test frameworks based on tools such as Selenium or Playwright
Experience in database testing
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Experience in testing Microservices based architecture
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
Project skills, including planning, estimation of effort
Proven track record of proactively working with SQA and development teams
Passion for assuring product quality
Ability to express ideas clearly in written and oral communications
Ability to assess new technologies and test implementations
Must understand and promote best practices regarding SQA methodologies
Preferred
Experience with Azure DevOps
Experience with Playwright
Experience with gRPC API testing
Experience working with Atlassian Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket product
Some experience or the desire to learn about utility power systems
Strong communication skills that interweave presentation skills with the problem-solving process
Strong interpersonal skills
Well-developed technical writing skills
