They are seeking an Electronic Technician I to work at the USPS Central Repair Facility in Topeka, KS, where the technician will perform testing and repairs on electronic equipment and provide maintenance for mail processing systems.

Responsibilities

Perform testing and repair of simple to medium complexity electronic and electromechanical equipment using common hand tools and test equipment (e.g., multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, frequency counters, and oscilloscopes, etc.)

Diagnose and repair items to the component level using common hand tools and test equipment

Follow instructions which cover virtually all procedures

Receive technical guidance as required from supervisor or higher-level technicians

Work is given detailed review when new or advanced assignments are involved

Performs other related duties as assigned
