Work Preparator
Northeast Energy Systems and Western Energy Systems, a division of INNIO, provide integrated power solutions and are seeking a Work Preparator / Field Service Coordination Specialist. This role involves scheduling field service work, coordinating technicians, and managing tooling while ensuring compliance with quality and EHS guidelines.

Responsibilities
Serve as the assistant and representative to the Regional Field Service Supervisor and Service Managers
Handle all direct and indirect customer contacts in a proactive and professional Way
Identify parts and tools needed to prepare for service events within the region and order through appropriate vendors
Manage material and labor resources in a cost sensitive way
Trigger units’ BOM updates after service event executions in a timely manner
Document all service events and triggered tasks within Oracle throughout the process
Provide support to Service Managers through continuous monitoring of all scheduled and unscheduled resources for optimized utilization in accordance with working regulations and guidelines. Issue Purchase Orders for 3rd party vendors
Create required technical and commercial documentation during operations
Ensure compliance with quality and EHS guidelines regarding internal and external resources
Ensure Field Service Technicians meet all process discipline and business standards
Support EHS by assisting with safety audits, recording EHS observations, and informing the department of any issues
Review service events to track any unplanned actions/work which must be added
Provide recommendations for improvement regarding operations initiatives
Work within the services team to achieve service key performance indicators
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent on mechanical or electrical
3+ years of technical business experience as well as a qualification in a technical field is required
5+ years of experience working on site/plant supervision, and leading technicians
Multiple years of experience in preparing service events and supporting of technical supervisors/coordinators required
Strong skill working with Oracle ERP, Microsoft Office applications, technical databases desired
Able to effectively interact and clearly communicate with customers at operational and management level. Customer focus
Troubleshooting skills with analytical mindset
Legal permit to work in the United States
Willingness to travel up to 30%
Preferred
Excellent technical specialist knowledge and customer service abilities
Ability to handle stress, stability working under pressure and resilience
Excellent English level, capable to maintain technical conversations and elaborate site reports and mails with clarity
Ability to work in structured manner, set priorities, and take initiative
Able to understand, implement and communicate technical procedures
Familiar with Jenbacher reciprocating gas engines
Experience in power generation applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
Good computer skills, office proficiency and logic controls software
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to meet and maintain insurability standards to drive a company vehicle
