PBF Supervisor, Technical Specialists

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee Specialist Teams across 1st and 2nd shifts
Provide mentorship, technical support, and training to team members, ensuring high performance while adhering to company guidelines
Manage and supervise preventative maintenance (PM) operations for various assets, including Additive Manufacturing (PBF) Printers, Wire EDM’s, Vacuum Furnaces, and post-processing equipment to ensure uptime
Own the planning and execution of printer and post processing equipment PM schedules in coordination with planning and process engineering to minimize downtime
Track and measure key performance indicators (KPI’s) such as on-time completion metrics and safety metrics
Implement continuous improvement projects based on performance data analysis
Manage inventory and availability of PM kits, spares, laser calibration tools, and service consumables required to support uninterrupted maintenance operations
Help support the development and implementation of planning systems to streamline maintenance operations and improve efficiency

Required

High School Diploma or GED
6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in maintenance of Additive, CNC, and similar machinery
3+ years of leadership experience overseeing a team
Maintenance certification in at least one of the following assets: EOS/AMCM, Velo3D, 3D Systems, or related equipment
Strong skills in planning, communication, and coordinating maintenance tasks with internal and external teams
Proficient in control of hazardous energy (Lock Out Tag Out) Procedures and knowledge of safety guidelines
Experience in tracking and analyzing performance metrics, including on-time completion and safety metrics
Demonstrated ability to set up and manage inventory systems and planning systems to support maintenance operations

Preferred

Additional maintenance certifications or training in advanced manufacturing technologies
Experience in project management or continuous improvement projects within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in multiple asset management applications
Familiarity with AS9100 standards and their application to asset management
