Senior Business Development Manager

The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by leveraging the Sandler Selling System to identify and close new business opportunities while maintaining long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

Execute the Sandler Selling methodology to manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing
Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and growth targets
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through strategic outreach and networking
Conduct consultative discovery sessions to uncover client needs and align solutions effectively
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client objectives
Maintain relationship, post agreement sign-off, to ensure a seamless transition and ongoing relationship
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients through regular, meaningful interactions
Partner with internal teams to ensure client expectations are clearly communicated and met
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in CRM systems
Provide regular reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and account health to leadership

Required

10 years of experience in a client-facing B2B sales role (inside or outside sales) with a proven track record, preferably in IT services or SaaS
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through consultative selling
Strong familiarity with the Sandler Selling System or equivalent sales methodology
Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills
Proficiency with CRM tools and sales reporting
Demonstrated ability to complete tasks and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and the ability to adapt to an evolving environment
Ability to build and cultivate long-term client relationships
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated presentation skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality with regards to the information processed, stored, or accessed on FIT or client networks and obtained through client relationships
Local travel to different client meetings, conferences, or other events
Valid driver's license and good driving record with minimum one year of driving experience
Valid and current personal auto insurance policy
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Occasional evening and weekend work for meetings or other events

Preferred

1-3 years of experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
