Business Development Executive
Boxzooka is a technology driven, retail ecommerce solutions provider specializing in order fulfillment, transportation management and client success. The Business Development Executive will source new sales opportunities, manage the existing pipeline and assist in closing accounts to achieve growth objectives.
Responsibilities
Close new client deals using a variety of proven sales and marketing methods; outbound cold calling, prospecting, email campaigns, industry events, etc…
Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
Evaluate potential client needs, identify their problems and build solutions that solve their issues, close the business and build trust
Differentiate ideal target opportunities from the ones that do not fit our business
Exceed personal and team sales targets
Research accounts to generate and progress sales leads
Attend meetings, sales events, trade shows and trainings to keep abreast of the latest industry developments
Manage overall daily activity to expand prospect and client database within the CRM
Follow established pricing procedures to maintain acceptable margin rates
Proactively communicate prospect and new customer information to internal and external stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Proven successful sales experience in sales or a sales support function
Track record of over-achieving quota
Experience selling services
Experience working with HubSpot or similar CRM
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Familiarity with different sales and pipeline management methodologies
Computer competency – MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Self motivated and driven
BA/BS degree or equivalent
Preferred
E-commerce, fulfillment, distribution or transportation experience, a plus
