NAPA Auto Parts is a part of USA MOT Motion Industries, and they are seeking a Mechanical Technician to repair and service hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. The technician will work under supervision to maintain customer products, diagnose issues, and prepare equipment for shipment.

Responsibilities

Performs maintenance on assigned customer products that come through the service shop

Disassembles, cleans, and inspects system components for repair

Diagnoses system components and recommends a solution to the customer

Prepares job form listing parts and works necessary to perform the repair

Designs, fabricates, machines, and welds parts and components

Repairs hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems and other related items

Assembles new and repaired equipment

Tests repaired equipment for performance and prepares for shipment or long-term storage

Assist customers by answering specific technical questions to help the customer understand the work to be done

May provide quotes or take customer orders

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Typically requires a high school diploma or GED

Ability to read hydraulic schematics

Strong communication skills required

Basic mechanical knowledge
