They are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to maintain and enhance their network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and security. The ideal candidate will manage network operations and provide IT support, requiring strong skills in Cisco and Meraki equipment.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure using Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet equipment, including firewalls, switches, and routers
Monitor network performance and security, and take proactive measures to prevent issues
Maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies
Collaborate with the rest of the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
Help to perform routine maintenance and upgrades on servers and other devices
Help to manage Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization environments
Help to provide IT support for end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving network, hardware, and software issues

Required

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or in another related discipline if applicant has sufficient IT experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of five (5) years industry experience
Extensive experience with Cisco, Meraki, and/or Fortinet networking equipment
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewall management, and network security
Demonstrated proficiency for understanding IT concepts such as identity, security, compliance, networking, databases, APIs, etc
Demonstrated proficiency for critical thinking and troubleshooting
Excellent communication skills
Excellent project management and time management skills

Preferred

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Meraki CMNA) are a plus
Experience with CMMC 2.0 and NIST 800-171/DFARS controls is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and/or Dynamics CRM is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Power platform (PowerBI, PowerApps, Power Automate) is a plus
