Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems

Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others

Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems

Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Lead and mentor junior software engineers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and career development. Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making processes within the team

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategic technology initiatives that align with business goals. Contribute to the architectural design and long-term planning of software solutions

Required

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience

Deep understanding of AWS cloud architecture, including advanced services like AWS CloudFormation, AWS Kinesis, and AWS Step Functions. Experience in implementing robust security measures and compliance standards within cloud environments

Proficiency in designing and optimizing complex database schemas, both SQL and NoSQL, for high-performance applications

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Experience in implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery processes
