Responsibilities
Troubleshoot Remedy tickets, analyze issues in the test environment, and ensure timely resolution
Act as the next tier of support for complex payroll-related inquiries
Begin learning payroll support processes and assist with tax update implementation
Review and resolve errors in weekly tax reports to maintain compliance and accuracy
During busy period, they want to pull staff to work on Workday, but this contractor will assist by maintaining PeopleSoft functionality
Participate in team training on tax update procedures, utilize checklists, and collaborate on repeatable processes for efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor Degree in a business-related discipline with at least 5-7 years of systems experience
In lieu of a degree, must have 8 years related work experience in a technical role
PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 version: Knowledge of compliance and processing
Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook and basic Excel proficiency (Teams, too)
Query Development: Ability to create and run queries in Peoplesoft
Testing & Documentation: Writing requirements, creating and executing test plans, reviewing release notes
Troubleshooting & Vendor Coordination - Logging tickets and working with Oracle (PeopleSoft vendor) to resolve issues
Preferred
Workday Experience is a plus, but NOT REQUIRED
