SpiTrex Orthopedics is looking for dedicated individuals for their Weekend Warrior Shift in Swiss CNC Machining. The role involves setting up and operating CNC machines, monitoring production quality, and troubleshooting machining issues while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Select, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for CNC machines
Perform machine setup, including zeroing axes, loading programs, and verifying parameters
Monitor machine operations during production runs and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity
Troubleshoot machining issues, including tooling wear, offsets, and surface finish concerns
Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Collaborate with Inspection, Leads and Off-shift Personnel
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve quality
Ability to prioritize according to demand
Good housekeeping
Conform to ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device industry requirements
Other work-related tasks as assigned

Qualification

CNC MachiningMedical Device experienceBlueprint readingMetrology reportingProcess improvementQuality System complianceBasic math skillsPositive attitude

Required

Minimum 1 year of Medical Device experience
Must be able to read basic level blueprints features
Must be able to use micrometers, dial calipers, and comparators
Basic understanding of metrology reporting
Basic math, calculation, and related skills needed
Ability to comply with Quality System requirements
Must be respectful and display a positive attitude

Preferred

High School Diploma or GED preferred
