Responsibilities
Oversee and ensure payroll precision – Limit discrepancies by analyzing information and ensuring accuracy
Develop, manage and maintain comprehensive payroll records
Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations and established procedures
Complete requests for pay-related documents including statements and verifications
Complete other projects, tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
1+ year of payroll processing experience, with a solid understanding of general accounting principles
Highly accurate in data collection, entry, and reporting with strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality
Thorough knowledge of payroll-related legislation, policies, and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to collaborate effectively and execute tasks independently
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
Self-starter who is proactive, motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Experience with payroll systems and related software
High school diploma or equivalent required
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reporting)
