Responsibilities

Serve as a member of the Program team, ensuring successful program performance, deliver conforming products/services through effective collaboration and compliance to processes and procedures
Oversee integration and implementation of cross-functional teams to ensure alignment to quality and customer requirements per the program quality plan
Serve as a program quality liaison across customer organizations (Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and United States Government (USG)), as well as relevant factories and engineering labs as first responder for quality issues and concerns related to production products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partner with program management team to define and implement quality improvement strategies, including Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and First Article Inspections (FAI)
Review and approve changes to the technical data package, assign actions when necessary and complete actions in a timely manner when assigned. This includes but is not limited to: Peer reviews, Engineering Review/Change Control Board (ERB/CCB) and/or Design reviews
Engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers
Monitor root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues and to ensure extensive RCCA

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience
Working experience in supporting design and/or manufacturing process
Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems
Working experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action
Experience in a relevant technical discipline with understanding of engineering principles and design analysis techniques
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

ASQ CQE Certification
Experience in APQP methods (including FMEA, Control Plan, FAI/AS9102, SPC) with demonstrated ability to mentor cross-functional team
Experience in interpreting and ensuring compliance to TDP requirements and QMS requirements
Experience working in a dynamic environment that requires prioritization and flexibility to support competing requirements
Experience with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systems
Demonstrated leadership experience in RCCA and Continuous Improvement projects
Knowledge of PRISM, Business Warehouse, RCAS
Experience achieving results and improvement
Experience making decisions with limited information
