Responsibilities

Build Relationships: Create positive connections with patients and colleagues, respect cultural differences, and promote a safe, balanced work environment
Teach Effectively: Educate patients, families, and staff using adult learning principles; support team learning and guide patients through care transitions
Provide Holistic Care: Deliver individualized care using the nursing process, set daily goals, communicate clearly, and document thoroughly
Grow Professionally: Participate in shared governance and quality initiatives, adapt to change, and use evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
At least 1 year of RN experience required
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide care and interact with patients of all ages. Understand the principles of growth and development over the lifespan
Establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with patients and their families, executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, and other departments
Work productively and effectively in an environment with changing priorities that require specialized skills
Think critically to analyze and problem-solve to deliver the best patient care. Use sound clinical judgment and problem-solving to deliver quality patient care when it matters most
Understand, apply, and champion nursing best practices
Ability to work productively and effectively within complex environments and handle multiple/changing priorities and specialized equipment
Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning of patients

Required

Casual and/or Limited Casual position available for nurses with 1+ years of experience
At least 1 year of RN experience required
An Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN, or MSN is required
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide care and interact with patients of all ages
Understand the principles of growth and development over the lifespan
Establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with patients and their families, executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, and other departments
Work productively and effectively in an environment with changing priorities that require specialized skills
Think critically to analyze and problem-solve to deliver the best patient care

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) + ACLS within 12 months of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) + CPR is required based on AHA standards that include both didactic and skills demonstration within 30 days of hire
Registered Nurse (RN) + Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state
