Responsibilities
Develop accurate electrical cost estimates based on plans, specs, and field conditions
Utilize estimating platforms such as Accubid, ConEst, or NECA for takeoffs and cost modeling
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and procurement teams during all preconstruction phases
Evaluate labor, material, and equipment costs, and present detailed bid proposals to leadership
Participate in subcontractor/vendor outreach and support scope alignment and pricing
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of electrical estimating experience in utility or industrial projects
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, NECA, ConEst) and blueprint reading
Associate degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience, with strong MS Office skills
