Responsibilities

Conduct data-driven analysis to support trading decisions in U.S. power markets
Utilize our proprietary energy trading platform to trade energy products
Analyze market trends and develop trading strategies based on quantitative models
Collaborate with the trading team to evaluate and improve trading performance
Identify trading opportunities and make creative, data-driven suggestions to optimize trading results

Required

1+ year working experience or 2+ years of research experience in energy, quantitative trading or statistical analysis
Strong technical skills in handling and analyzing large datasets, with the ability to make informed decisions strictly based on data
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and propose innovative solutions
Strong communication skills and a self-starter mentality
Minimum GPA of 3.7 for undergraduate studies and 3.8 for graduate studies
U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified candidates

Preferred

Ph.D. or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline
Proficiency in programming, with a preference for Python, SQL, and C/C++
