San Francisco Office - Summer Associate (Litigation/IP Litigation)
Winston & Strawn LLP is currently accepting applications from first-year law students interested in General Litigation or IP Litigation for their Summer Associate Program. The program offers positions for both 1L and 2L candidates, with opportunities to participate in joint summer programs and eligibility for bonuses for commitment to both roles.

Responsibilities

Full participation in both programs is required for this specific application
Candidates who accept an offer will be eligible for a $20,000 bonus for committing to both summer programs
Interviews for 1L students will be conducted on a rolling basis beginning in November 2025
Interviews for 2L students will be conducted on a rolling basis beginning in January 2026
Submit a resume, undergraduate transcript, law school transcript, and cover letter
Qualification
Required
First-year law student (Class of 2028)
Record of excellent academic credentials
Strong analytical skills
Strong writing skills
Strong verbal skills
Interest in IP Litigation
Technical degree in the field of Electronics (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering) or Chemistry (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology) or related fields
Preferred
Candidates who accept an offer will be eligible for a $20,000 bonus for committing to both summer programs
