Responsibilities

Design, implement, and document controls systems for various types of automated equipment
Troubleshoot robot controllers, ladder logic, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices, and peripheral equipment
Perform machine power-up, debug, and programming. Ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques and approaches

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, an Associate's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience
Experience with any of the following: PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, Mechatronics, Motion Control, Vision Systems, and/or Programming
Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks)
Ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings
Willingness to travel up to 35%–50% to customer sites and other JR locations

Preferred

Current or prior JR Automation experience, or experience in the automation industry, is strongly preferred
