Systems Engineer (Software) - Level 3 or Level 4
Northrop Grumman is a leader in technological advancements and is seeking a Systems Engineer - Level 3 or Level 4 to support their Aurora, CO program. The role involves technical planning, system integration, and ensuring the conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions.

Responsibilities
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Maintain existing operations procedures up-to-date to also include lessons learned from real-time performance
Develop new procedures as required
Interface with program and customer personnel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or other STEM related degree with 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's; 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance at the time of application and willingness to sit for a polygraph
Ability to decompose requirements and understanding impacts to current software architecture
Ability to create/decompose new software requirements
Ability to partner with Integrated Product Team (IPT) to ensure alignment between design engineering and common software
Demonstrated software design experience beyond novice familiarity
Bachelor's degree in computer science or other STEM related degree with 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance at the time of application and willingness to sit for a polygraph
Ability to decompose requirements and understanding impacts to current software architecture
Ability to create/decompose new software requirements
Ability to partner with Integrated Product Team (IPT) to ensure alignment between design engineering and common software

Active TS/SCI with poly
Experience with Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE) and CAMEO tools
