Responsibilities

Update, develop, maintain, and improve requirements, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces
Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments and perform/execute the testing
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact
Create/modify documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which may include Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Test Data Review (TDR) packages
Perform Platform Integration, Flight Test, Qualification, Design Verification Execution
Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging
Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders
Conduct statistical and numerical analysis test data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements
Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers
Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues
Conduct trade studies and present results to stakeholders
Travel as needed to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience
Experience with systems software or systems hardware or systems requirements or systems integration, and/or systems test
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain and maintain program access as required

Preferred

Experience in the Defense Industry, and specifically with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures, as well as Department of Defense customer infrastructure experience
Understanding of the Systems Engineering Product Cycle
Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB
Experience with performing performance analysis and presenting analytical and technical material
Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
Master's or PhD in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools
Experience with model-based engineering and associated tools
Experience in developing and managing requirements
Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification
Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments
Experience with generating technical documentation, such as trade studies, test plans, procedures, or technical reports
