Project Manager, MEDITECH Expanse – Order Sets

5+ years expCereCore is seeking a MEDITECH Expanse Order Sets Project Manager to support the Order Set team dedicated to HCA Healthcare’s MEDITECH Expanse rollout. This role will coordinate between leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and workflows are understood.

Responsibilities
Work closely with HCA leadership prior to project kickoff to determine resource needs and assignments
Conduct screening, interviewing, training, and mentoring staff
Attend weekly MMA (medication management alignment), core team, and division calls to support the team’s understanding of their workflows
Meet weekly with HCA management for alignment on risks, goals, and workflows
Support resources throughout project by ensuring their goals are clearly defined and able to be met and feedback is given as needed
Ensure resources have received all necessary training in their respective areas of build; coordinates training with resource manager when needs arise
Monitor project milestones and communicate progress towards milestones to HCA project management
Regularly review processes and procedures to provide feedback to HCA leadership on optimization opportunities
Work closely with the resource manager to ensure access has been given as required
Continuously monitors assignments of the CereCore to ensure progress is being made
Work 1:1 with resources to remove barriers to order set completion
When unable to resolve barriers to completion, escalate issues to HCA leadership
Provide a weekly executive status report to HCA and CereCore leadership
Lead CereCore internal weekly calls; gives a status update for the week and discusses resource concerns
Lead CereCore/Expanse weekly calls; gives a status update for the week, communicates any barriers to set completion, and discusses resource concerns
Alongside the HCA team leads, assists with the delegation of work as needed
Assist with the creation of process documentation needed for the project
Actively engages in project-related communication channels
Accurately tracks hours worked on project each week and logs in time sheet applications
Participate in timesheet review
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Healthcare/EHR Project Management experience required
PMO experience required and ability to adhere to formal project governance
Strong background managing clinical, operational, or technical resources in a healthcare setting
Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills with the ability to engage both clinical and technical audiences
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing shifting priorities
Team-oriented with a professional, customer service–focused demeanor
Preferred
Experience with MEDITECH Expanse strongly preferred; willing to consider strong PMs with related EHR experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Relevant certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, PMI-ACP, or CSM are preferred
