Pet Care Center Launch Manager
Petfolk is a company focused on ensuring the successful launch of new Pet Care Centers. The Pet Care Center Launch Manager is responsible for managing the procurement process, vendor onboarding, and operational readiness for new centers, ensuring all equipment and supplies are in place for a successful opening.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement for all new Care Centers, ensuring accurate orders, timely delivery, and alignment with construction and opening timelines
Manage SKU audits, alternatives, backorders, and surplus utilization
Set up and manage all clinical and operational vendor accounts for new centers
Complete required applications and coordinate account access, platform configurations, and issue resolution
Own the entire new store turnover process—from procurement through OT week—ensuring every item, space, system, and workflow is fully delivered, staged, functional, and ready for opening
Maintain and continuously elevate the OT Week Guide, driving vendor readiness, training coordination, and safe workflows for receiving and managing temperature-sensitive inventory
Partner with regulatory teams to coordinate delivery, installation, certification, and early troubleshooting for operational and medical equipment (alongside Regulatory)
Support standardized equipment packages, cost estimates, and CapEx planning
Assist with troubleshooting existing capital equipment issues in partnership with Facilities, Learning and Development, and vendor partners
Track and manage surplus inventory and coordinate redistribution to support upcoming openings
Partner closely with Regulatory, Medical Ops, Construction, Facilities, and Launch to ensure smooth openings and clear ownership across workflows
Maintain strong vendor relationships and manage escalations
Evolve procurement tools, SOPs, and workflows to support Petfolk’s scaling needs
Qualification
Required
3–6+ years in procurement, operations, supply chain, or multi-site openings
Strong vendor management and communication skills
Highly organized; strong project and timeline management
Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel
Exceptional attention to detail across procurement, account setup, and equipment workflows
Strong communication and partnership skills
Ability to manage multiple timelines and openings simultaneously
Comfort and proficiency in navigating digital platforms and systems
Resourceful problem-solving and rapid issue resolution
Highly collaborative across teams
Adaptable in a fast-paced, scaling environment
Strong sense of ownership and follow-through for opening-day readiness
Preferred
Experience with construction, facilities, or new store setups
Veterinary, healthcare, retail, or multi-site experience strongly preferred
