Responsibilities
Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects
Performs systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation and analysis & functional allocation
Oversight of moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies
Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
Conduct system requirements reviews
Develop Systems architectures

Required
Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Secret
Clearance Level Must Be Able To Obtain: Secret
Software Systems, Systems Architecture, Systems Design
CompTIA Security+ CE | CompTIA - CompTIA
6 + years of related experience
US Citizenship Required
Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, additional years of experience in lieu of degree can be considered
Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience in Systems Engineering
Required Technical Skills: Red Hat, Linux and Solaris (a plus)
Security Clearance Level: Secret
Security+ CE certification/DoD 8140 compliant
Location: On site in LA
