Responsibilities

Order parts, materials, and supplies used in maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment

Process invoices for payment; verify receipt of invoiced parts, materials, and supplies

Maintain and track inventory records on a computer

Unload, store, transport, deliver, and distribute parts, materials, and supplies

Work with vendors/sales representatives; follow up on items not received and check on item prices/availability

Clean the parts storage and work area

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent required

1-2 years of automotive/equipment parts and supply clerk experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities

Must have a valid US Driver's License and satisfactory driver record

Ability to utilize a wide variety of reference and descriptive data and information, such as purchase orders, invoices, delivery slips, vendor contracts, and safety data sheets

Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Effective oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion

Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process

Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push or move objects up to 25lbs. Various tasks may require intermittent standing or prolonged sitting, and the ability to walk, reach, kneel, crouch and handle work related supplies and tools
