Responsibilities
Manage projects from inception through completion, ensuring technical quality and client satisfaction
Mentor and provide guidance to early and mid career professionals within the team
Oversee detailed site-civil design, including grading, drainage, and utility layout
Oversee hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater management and floodplain studies
Ensure regulatory compliance and obtain local, state, and federal permits for projects
Utilize business skills relevant to consulting, such as client relationship management and proposal development, to develop an infrastructure engineering practice
Lead a team of early, mid and late career professionals to complete projects
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed
Qualification
Required
At least 10 years of direct site civil engineering and consulting experience
Managing complex interdisciplinary projects for private and public sector clients
Effective business development and client management skills
Technical leadership for civil design and site layout
Task and project management
Strong oral and technical writing skills
Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
Preferred
15+ years of direct site civil engineering and consulting experience
Relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil3D, SWMM, HydroCAD, and ArcGIS)
