Responsibilities

Inspect incoming materials, components, and finished goods for compliance with quality standards
Use inspection tools (calipers, gauges, measuring devices) to verify dimensional and visual requirements
Maintain accurate inspection records and document all nonconformances
Prepare inspection reports and ensure documentation of results
Work with Production, Engineering, Sourcing, and suppliers to address quality issues
Coordinate with Receiving to resolve quality concerns promptly
Support improvements to inspection processes and quality procedures
Identify quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Collaborate with teams to ensure resolution of quality problems
Stay informed on best practices and trends in quality control

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or quality-related certifications
1.5+ years' experience in quality or inspection roles
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for mechanical and electromechanical parts
Proven experience in a quality control or inspection role in a manufacturing or production environment
Consistently identifies errors and evaluates data to support decisions
Familiarity with quality standards, regulations, and inspection techniques
Clearly convey information and expectations to team members and the ability to collaborate across teams
Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
Knowledge of basic computer applications and proficient in entering and maintaining quality records
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
Comfortable standing for extended periods during inspections
Ability to compare products against visual standards, including color and detail requirements
