Engine Clean Up Technician
Hendrick Motorsports, a championship-winning NASCAR operation, is seeking a highly motivated Engine Clean-up Technician to join the team. This role involves the meticulous cleaning and preparation of engine components to ensure optimal performance and longevity, playing a vital role in supporting engine programs.

Responsibilities
Responsible for shop and break room clean-up, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing
Responsible for cleaning the piece parts that have been removed and routed to the cleaning department after the engine has been disassembled
Remove grease build-up, corrosion products, etc., as well as prepare parts for the next overhaul step using various cleaning compounds and chemical solutions, spray guns, brushes, etc
Complete forms associated with work assignments according to established procedures
Responsible for the completion of assigned shop tasks and projects, including providing support to other technicians to complete necessary work in a timely manner
Maintain a safe, clean, and neat work environment through proper housekeeping and organization

Technical Aptitude – utilize intermediate technical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Time Management - ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
Working Under Pressure - ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
GED
High School Diploma
up to 3 years
Intermediate mechanical and technical aptitude desired
Valid Driver's License
Basic computer skills required
Requires vision (near, distance, depth), sense of touch, and ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – safety glasses, hearing protection
Constantly manually manipulates, squats or kneels, bends, lifts/carries up to 20 pounds, and pushes/pulls 12 pounds or less
Frequently stands, walks, sits, reaches outward, reaches above shoulder, lifts/carries up to 50 pounds, and pushes/pulls up to 25 pounds
Occasionally climbs, crawls, lifts/carries up to and over 100 pounds, and pushes/pulls up to 100 pounds
Preferred
Technical training in automotive manufacturing a plus
