They are seeking a BIC Vent Technician to work as part of a shift technician team, responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines and supporting equipment.

Responsibilities
Under general supervision, work as part of the shift technician team to set-up, operate, and perform maintenance on computerized and manual injection molding machines and supporting auxiliary equipment
Read and record process settings using digital and manual gauges and make appropriate changes to part specifications
Enter process settings such as speeds, pressures, heats, time settings, etc. on computerized and manual molding machines to part specifications
Troubleshoot, identify mechanical and electrical problems and take corrective action to return to production
Perform manual mold changes, insert changes, cam changes and color changes per Bill of Material (BOM)
Perform weekly preventative maintenance on work cell components
Change robot tooling as needed, repair/replace tooling components
Keep work areas clean and orderly following 5S procedures
Strictly adhere to all plant safety rules
Take active part in group meetings to maintain safety, quality, and increase productivity and morale
Performs other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
