Responsibilities

Develop hardware/firmware requirements at the HW Component (HWCI) level

Develop top-level and detailed designs for more complex HWCI based on Hardware requirements

Define/document interfaces between HWCI’s

Generate unit test cases, including definition of required data inputs, outputs and expected testing results

Provide detailed information to support resource utilization measurements

Provide detailed information to support component selection and design partitioning

Present design at PDR and CDR

Participate in others’ peer reviews of hardware/firmware design and code

Follow current EE development processes

Foster process improvement

Perform tasks according to budget and schedule

Uses computer assisted engineering and design hardware/firmware and equipment to perform engineering tasks

Prepares status reports, as required

Required

5+ years of experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when necessary for work on a project that requires such a clearance
