Architectural Project Manager

They are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead projects from concept through construction while mentoring junior team members and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities
Lead overall design quality, project implementation, and delivery
Coordinate site planning, engineering, and interior design to execute architectural concepts
Define and guide project design intent from schematic design through construction administration
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, ADA requirements and standards for construction document production
Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance to the team
Direct project phases including setup, design development, construction documents, and problem-solving
Conduct and document site surveys; collect field data for accurate floor and ceiling plans, elevations, details, etc
Manage consultant coordination and day-to-day construction administration; maintain documentation, schedules, and communication
Prepare client presentations, technical details, and construction documents
Process submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings
Represent the company in high-visibility client interactions and marketing efforts for public works and K-12 projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Architecture or related field
8–10 years in architectural project management, 5+ years leading design teams
4+ years drafting experience
Licensed Architect or ability to obtain licensure within one year
Strong AutoCAD skills required; Revit and 3D rendering preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office; LEED accreditation a plus
Experience in Public Works marketing and projects
Project experience with Mixed Use, Grocery, Retail, Restaurants, General Commercial, Public Works, and facility remodels
Working knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and zoning
Proven leadership in managing teams and delivering multiple projects concurrently
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client/job sites or company offices
Occasionally lift plan sets (1–20 lbs)
Willingness to travel occasionally with notice
Preferred
Revit and 3D rendering preferred
LEED accreditation a plus
