Responsibilities
Manage a product life cycle: create and execute product based upon vision and void directed by the Merchants and Managers
Work with various teams to manage product from idea to distribution to retail stores
Support with everything in the creative process through production: research, sketching, color, trend, and other aspects that go into designing apparel and home products
Act as a liaison between the design teams and the Buyers to turn ideas into finished products
Anticipate any design issues and ensure specifications are adjusted accordingly
Partner with Product Development Team on the development and negotiation of license brand products
Negotiate pricing and determine order placement based on factory capabilities, quality, and capacity/delivery
Qualification
Required
Current sophomores & juniors
Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Fashion/Home Product Design, Merchandising, Business or equivalent
Genuine interest in a Product Development career
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Office Suite)
PC skills, including Microsoft Office, BeProduct, Adobe Illustrator
Problem solving through thinking analytically and creatively
Excellent communicators who work well in teams
Students with proven leadership abilities and strong work ethic
Flexible, adept at handling change, willingness to learn
