Boardwalk Pipelines is a limited partnership operating in the midstream portion of the natural gas and natural gas liquids industry, providing transportation and storage services. They are seeking a motivated Industrial Engineering Intern to join their Project Services team, focusing on data analysis, process mapping, and project reporting to enhance project execution and operational efficiency.

Oil and Gas

Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and visualize project performance data
Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, etc
Document current workflows and identify bottlenecks
Create process maps using Visio or like applications
Recommend improvements for efficiency and standardization
Assist in preparing scopes of work and project documentation
Support minor initiatives related to project execution and compliance
Participate in process improvement workshops
Contribute ideas for automation and optimization

Qualification

Data AnalysisMicrosoft ExcelProcess MappingPower BILean Six SigmaCommunication SkillsOrganizational SkillsTeamwork

Required

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI and SharePoint
Knowledge of process mapping tools (Visio)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
High School Diploma
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (Operations Management, Systems Engineering)

Preferred

Exposure to Lean Six Sigma principles
Basic understanding of project management methodologies
Interest in data-driven decision-making and process optimization
