Responsibilities
Support implementation of real-world evidence strategies to demonstrate unmet medical needs and outcomes meaningful to payers, clinical decision makers, and regulators
Design, execute, and communicate observational studies using real world data to demonstrate product differentiation and value for commercial and market access needs
Partner with CORE asset leads in the development and execution of RWE studies through hands on analytics delivery
Support clinical development, regulatory, and safety objectives through real world evidence and epidemiology studies
Evaluate emerging data modalities, including claims, electronic health records, genomics, biomarkers, social determinants of health, and unstructured clinical data
Conduct feasibility assessments to align study objectives with optimal real world data sources such as claims, EHRs, registries, and patient generated data
Manage analytic deliverables including table shells, analytic datasets, statistical analysis plans, programming activities, and quality control in accordance with scientific and regulatory standards
Perform quality assurance and code validation, including review of programming code and datasets
Explore pilot applications of AI driven analytics and scale successful approaches within routine real-world data and epidemiology workflows
Draft analysis reports and support publication and presentation of results at scientific conferences and scientific forums
Support execution of communication and publication strategies for assigned products and studies
Manage and coordinate external partners and vendors supporting CORE projects
Collaborate cross functionally with development, commercial, market access, safety, legal, and medical affairs teams
Qualification
Required
MS or PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in real world evidence generation and epidemiology analytics
Working knowledge of healthcare claims databases, electronic medical records, hospital billing data, cancer registry data including SEER, and linked datasets
Strong understanding of epidemiologic and statistical concepts including confounding, bias, incidence rates, cumulative incidence, and survival analyses
Experience applying outcomes research and causal inference methodologies including regression modeling, survival analysis, IPTW, MAIC, and related methods
Hands on proficiency in statistical programming using SAS, R, and Python with real world oncology claims or EHR data
Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks applied to real world data analytics
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines
Proactive, goal-oriented work style with strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across functions
