Responsibilities
Maintain all Sabert production equipment in optimal operating condition
Perform tooling changes and machine setups in alignment with production requirements, including adjustments for various paper cup and bowl forming applications
Monitor machine efficiency and product quality; proactively troubleshoot and correct mechanical, electrical, or process issues
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
Qualify machines and fine-tune operating parameters when running different raw materials or material variations
Conduct daily inspections of assigned equipment and report any conditions that may affect safety, quality, or productivity
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying root causes and implementing long-term corrective actions
Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and ensure Bills of Materials (BOMs) are updated and documented
Train operators and other team members on routine equipment checks, safe operation, and basic maintenance practices
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance or production equipment support
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repair, and machine adjustments
Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
Experience performing preventive maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Strong understanding of workplace safety, lockout/tagout procedures, and quality compliance
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with maintenance work order systems
Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekend schedules as needed
Preferred
Experience working with high-speed paper cup or bowl forming equipment (PMC, Horauf, Hyunjin, etc.)
Familiarity with flexographic printing systems and automation upgrades
Basic electrical troubleshooting skills (sensors, motors, heaters, PLC interfaces)
Lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement training
Prior experience in packaging, paper converting, or food-service manufacturing industries
