The role involves performing inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods, while working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform tests as specified in the Quality Control Manual and Quality Control Records

Prioritizes work based on information supplied by Quality Control Manager, Process Chemists and / or Production Supervisors

Comply with all safety rules, regulations and practices

Creates and ensures that records of work are correct, neat, properly labeled, filed and complete

Meets both regular and overtime commitments on a timely basis

Completes special projects at the request of managers or supervisors

Works in a professional manner with peers both in the lab and in the manufacturing process

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Basic Lab SkillsBasic Math SkillsGeneral computer skillsIndustrial laboratory experienceCommunication skills

Required

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Basic Math Skills

Good communication skills

Basic Lab Skills

Preferred

Associate's degree in a science or technical field including laboratory classes a plus

Industrial laboratory working experience a plus
