Regional Accounting Lead

Responsibilities

Lead monthly close processes and review deliverables including financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and reconciliations
Supervise and develop a small team of accountants, including training and performance management
Ensure compliance with GAAP and Troon’s internal controls and standard operating procedures
Support annual external audits and conduct internal audit fieldwork as needed
Assist operations teams with annual budgets and periodic forecasts
Analyze financial performance and identify significant variances from budgeted results
Attend finance committee meetings and present financial insights as needed
Collaborate with operations leaders to align financial priorities with business goals
Lead accounting transitions for new properties and ensure smooth integration
Coordinate with other departments on accounting matters and policy adherence
Conduct periodic site visits to managed golf clubs

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
Lead monthly close processes and review deliverables including financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and reconciliations

Ensure compliance with GAAP and Troon's internal controls and standard operating procedures

Preferred

CPA preferred
Prior experience managing or mentoring staff strongly preferred
Experience with Jonas Club Management software a plus
Familiarity with audit, tax, or compliance processes preferred
