Associate Consultant

Responsibilities
Gather and interpret information from a variety of sources to analyze and 'connect the dots' across data points, providing clear insights and implications; Includes competitive, category, market disruption, financial, and other business analyses
Design, coordinate, and analyze qualitative and quantitative consumer studies, working with outside suppliers as needed to field research and write insightful reports
Assist with concept development and innovation pipeline projects by helping plan and execute ideation sessions with clients and co-creation research with consumers
Support strategic planning projects and client sessions
Exhibit a passionate curiosity on consumers, current CPG topics, and the retail landscape and be able to connect them to client needs
A good understanding of primary and secondary market research approaches and techniques
Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects
Illustrates business acumen and critical thinking skills on a constantly evolving set of client business critical questions
Design, coordinate and analyze qualitative and quantitative consumer research
Outline reports and proposals with management support present them as needed
Gather and interpret data from a variety of sources to understand the situation, provide insight and implications, and deliver a compelling output in PowerPoint
Support management in developing strategic recommendations, business development opportunities and marketing materials (e.g. White Papers)
Qualification
Required
1-2 years of experience in marketing, brand management, research, or innovation/strategy consulting
Minimum BBA, BA, or BS degree
Have a passion in bringing clarity to ambiguous situations
A deep passion for consumer insights to uncover themes and key sources of inspiration for solving client needs
Ability to work in collaboration with others while remote
Solid business acumen and critical thinking skills
Experience with Marketing Research methods and outputs
Direct experience owning and autonomously managing project work streams (timelines, teams and deliverables)
Strong grasp of the overall big picture and capable of applying a strategic perspective to all efforts and structured thinking and approaches to delivering solutions
Proficiency of PowerPoint required
High degree of independence and exceptional work ethic
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
