Field Service Engineer - Lincoln, NE

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for visiting healthcare partners, installing, maintaining, and repairing imaging systems, while building strong relationships with providers in the community.

Responsibilities
Service any combination of MR, CT, Cath/Angio, Nuclear Med, fluoro and ultrasound systems
Perform periodic maintenance inspections per manufacturers’ specifications
Perform initial calibration and certification of newly installed systems
Complete all appropriate and necessary documentation associated with equipment installation, maintenance, service and parts replacement
Coordinate with service and sales management to anticipate future service needs
Maintain parts inventory according to policy
Travel in a company-provided vehicle to health facilities throughout your territory (driver’s license and Fleet Policy adherence required)
Travel via airplane for occasional training at other locations, including some outside the United States (must have or being willing to obtain a valid passport)
Work on call at set intervals in anticipation of system downtime during non-business hours
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by manager
Qualification
Required
Successful candidates must reside within the Lincoln, NE area
Minimum of a two-year degree in electronics (Technical school or Associates Degree) or equivalent work experience
Proficient use of hand tools and performance of mechanical tasks
The ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
Interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Able to work in a relatively unstructured environment in which priorities constantly change
Travel in a company-provided vehicle to health facilities throughout your territory (driver's license and Fleet Policy adherence required)
Travel via airplane for occasional training at other locations, including some outside the United States (must have or being willing to obtain a valid passport)
Work on call at set intervals in anticipation of system downtime during non-business hours
Must be able to work with chemicals and high voltage equipment
May come into contact with human body fluids or solids on equipment
Required to travel and stay overnight as necessary
Preferred
Medical imaging industry field service experience preferred but not required
