Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and integration planning sessions with vendor technical teams to evaluate APIs, define data exchange formats (e.g., JSON, XML, CSV), and determine appropriate transport methods (e.g., REST, SOAP, SFTP)

Design, document, and maintain technical integration specifications for external vendor systems, including data mappings, interface definitions, transformation logic, and delivery protocols. Ensure integration solutions meet scalability, performance, and security standards

Serve as consultant, and L3 support for the deployment, and maintenance of robust ETL pipelines using tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), supporting automated data ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery between systems

Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support large-scale data integration, monitoring, and reconciliation tasks. Ensure high availability and performance of backend data processes

Act as the technical point of contact for all vendor integration issues, owning problem resolution, root cause analysis, and long-term stability planning. Coordinate with infrastructure and development teams as needed

Implement and maintain integration monitoring and alerting to proactively detect issues in data transfers, latency, and schema mismatches. Work with stakeholders to triage and resolve production incidents

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors in a direct client facing role, ensuring clear communication channels for ongoing integration needs, enhancements, troubleshooting, and compliance requirements

Serve as a trusted liaison between Quantum Health and vendor technical teams, translating business requirements into actionable technical plans and ensuring vendor deliverables meet contractual and operational expectations

Participate in vendor performance reviews to provide technical insight on integration health, incident history, and opportunities for improvement

Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure vendor integrations adhere to data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), secure authentication practices, and internal governance policies

Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying integration automation opportunities, reducing manual handoffs, and contributing to architecture and process enhancements

Required

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience

Demonstrated experience with Cloud technologies like AWS or GCP

Demonstrated expertise in developing ETL pipelines and Data Orchestration tools like Apache Airflow

Strong understanding of Relational Database concepts (i.e. normalization, constraints, etc)

Good understanding of Web Technologies including APIs and SSO

Proficient at troubleshooting technical issues (query performance, data integration anomalies)

3+ years of Relational Database experience (SQL Server preferred)

3+ years of demonstrated experience in working with external partners

3-4+ years or ETL experience (SQL Server Integration Services preferred)

1-2 years' experience with Data Warehouse concepts

Excellent written and verbal communication

Proficient in T-SQL/Stored Procedures
