Responsibilities
Support development of welding solutions to enable Ford leadership in body structures and electrified powertrains
Deliver novel mechanical, thermal, and chemical joining solutions to reduce cost and improve quality
Implement non-destructive evaluation (NDE) techniques for new joining processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field
Experience in welding processes and non-destructive evaluation techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in relevant software tools for engineering analysis and design
