Responsibilities

Design, build, and iterate mechanical prototypes, fixtures, and enclosures for ignition and flame-detection systems

Integrate PCBs, sensors, and electro-mechanical components into functional assemblies for testing

Develop and maintain burner test setups to validate product performance under real-world conditions

Create detailed CAD models and drawings for prototypes, plastic, and metal components

Use rapid prototyping techniques including 3D printing, machining, and sheet metal fabrication

Collaborate closely with electrical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to bring early-stage concepts to functional prototypes

Required

An Associates degree or higher in Engineering Technology or related field

Experience in mechanical design, prototyping, or R&D hardware development

Experience designing and building mechanical fixtures, mounts, and assemblies

Experience with Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Fusion 360 or Altium
