Responsibilities

Gather and document application requirements from customer requests, coordinating with the product manager to ensure tasking aligns with project scope

Implement new application features using shell scripting, Python, Java, and JavaScript, including both front-end functionality and back-end database processing

Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to ensure all technical requirements are met within the application architecture

Partner with UI/UX experts and power users to create an intuitive, research-driven application experience

Participate in daily Scrum meetings to review tasking, identify blockers, and plan upcoming work

Test new application features as they are developed to validate that requirements are fully met

Present software deliverables to the product manager and team at the end of each sprint cycle

Required

Minimum 5 years of experience

Strong JavaScript experience (Hono.js) and Python experience (FastAPI)

Strong TypeScript/JavaScript (Vue.js) and TailwindCSS experience

Experience with DevOps tools, including CDKTF/Terraform

Experience with relational database design and SQL query workflows

Active/current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph

Willingness to work onsite full time

Active Top Secret clearance with FSP

US Citizenship Required

Preferred

Experience building chat interfaces and integrating with LLMs via API

Experience using Docker containers for development (Podman)

Experience working in cloud environments (AWS)

Familiarity with Git for source control
