Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support business planning, forecasting, and financial analysis within the FP&A team, preparing reports and presentations while assisting in various financial projects.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of the monthly Corporate forecast. Prepare department schedules, communicate with management, consolidate, and review. Compile a detailed variance analysis
Retrieve and analyze business group financial figures to compile the monthly consolidated forecast. Ensure accuracy in financial roll-ups & compile detailed variance analyses. Prepare any supplementary reports, including SG&A analysis, revenue streams, debt covenants, and balance sheet reviews
Compile the monthly financial package, working capital analysis, and assist with quarter end deliverables. Provide analysis of any material changes, ensuring accuracy and effective insights on drivers of change
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual CFO presentations to management and board of directors, adjusting based on review. Assist in the preparation of the quarterly MD&A and earnings presentation. Prepare schedule backups, reconcile financial figures, and compile orderly charts and tables
Aid the FP&A team with ad hoc requirements and projects, which includes OneStream inputs and review, Strategic & Business Plan reports, business intelligence/data flows, peer benchmarking, and special projects as requested by the CEO/CFO
Identify and implement improvements in analytical tools and capabilities to enhance the performance and efficiency of financial planning and reporting processes
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
Proficient in MS Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear and simple business language to aid decision making
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, and drive initiatives to completion
Preferred
Special Certification or Training above formal education
Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems; OneStream preferred
