Files appeals for denied claims
Processes refund requests for insurance companies
Qualification
Required
Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD and CPT codes
Ability to read EOB's and process denials and payments
Knowledge of payer rules for filing claims
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred
Minimum of two (2) years experience working in AF followup for a physician practice
Previous orthopedic billing experience
