Responsibilities

Collaborate and learn from experienced professional engineers while working on transportation infrastructure projects

Typical projects could include traffic and safety analysis, roadway/highway design, complete streets design, drainage design, and surveying

Increase your knowledge in preliminary plan creation, CAD design, plan production, cost estimation, and geometric design

Gain drafting and design skills in MicroStation and AutoCAD on a variety of roadway projects

Coordinate with adjacent disciplines such as traffic, structural, and environmental engineering

Required

You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in engineering (civil preferred) from an ABET accredited college or university and will have completed at least two years of your undergraduate degree in summer of 2026

Strong interest in developing diverse civil engineering skills

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
