Responsibilities

Applies advanced development, evaluation, and quality control techniques to complex technical projects
Works under minimal supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision-making
Reads, understands, and follows work procedures to accurately record results
Demonstrates ability to provide informal leadership for groups of 5-7 technicians, leading them to accomplish work results tied to business objectives or work tasks within their area
Demonstrates ability to consistently be self-directed while understanding the priorities of the business to consistently make decisions in their day-to-day activities
Learns from project leads/subject matter experts while demonstrating technical aptitude
Uses equipment, techniques, and tools necessary to complete tasks
Possess ability to efficiently navigate FM&T portal or other shared resources and locate key applications or documentation when required
Demonstrates ability to effectively engage with FM&T customers and represent the company in a positive light
Understands, actively utilizes and leads others to utilize all elements of Honeywell Operating Sytems (HOS) and Management Operating Systems (MOS)
Creates, modifies or trains others on work procedures

Required

5+ years of experience in a related technical role with formal training or practical experience equivalent to technical knowledge obtained in military training courses or through a two-year technical degree
Bachelor of Science degree or technical certification in from an ABET accredited program or 2 additional years of experience
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
United States Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

Preferred

Ability to apply advanced development, evaluation, and quality control techniques to complex technical projects
Ability to work under minimal supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision-making
Some positions within this classification may require unique expertise
Formal training or practical experience equivalent to technical knowledge obtained in military training courses or through a two- or four-year technical degree
Able to machine at the highest level, complexity, and quality
Proficient in operating CNC's, including up to 5-axis
Able to machine from solid model only if required
Proficient in MasterCam
Knowledgeable in Solidworks and/or Siemens NX
Experience programming and setting up Wire EDM machines
